Our Friday Lates events have made a welcome return every Friday evening throughout July and August from 6pm to 8pm at the Horsham Carfax Bandstand, wrapping up with the fantastic Dhol Collective on 28 August.

Don’t miss brilliant Big Band performances on the Carfax and Park Podium bandstands across the weekends.

Bandstand

We are continuing to celebrate local talent with our Sussex Sounds performances, which you can enjoy at the Horsham Carfax Bandstand alongside our weekend markets.

On Sunday 30 August, our much-loved Sussex Sounds Festival returns, bringing multiple stagesof music with the fantastic markets in Horsham town centre.

We will be back for Love Parks Week from 27 to 31 July with lots of activities celebrating our fantastic green spaces across the District.

Families with younger children can head to our free Children’s Fun Sessions on the Horsham Park Podium every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 2pm and 3.15pm during the summer holidays. These 45‑minute shows offer traditional entertainment for children to enjoy with their carers.

Other activities in Horsham Park include the extensive children’s play area in front of The Pavilions In The Park, as well as the children’s maze, but watch out for the dragon!

At Southwater Country Park, our beautifully relaxed Sunset Sessions continue. Join us from 6pm to 8pm and enjoy live music as the sun sets over the lake, featuring Will Brownlees on Thursday 30 July and Ella Ridley on Thursday 27 August. Food and drink will be available from the café. These sessions are free to attend, but please bring your own chair or picnic mat.

Wheels for All

For accessible activities, Wheels for ALL, our inclusive cycling group, will be hosting a special summer session on the athletics track at The Bridge Leisure Centre on Wednesday 12 August from 1.30pm to 3pm. Find out more at: www.horsham.gov.uk/horsham-wheels‑for‑all

Indoor bowls

A new Monday Learn to Bowl course at Horsham District Indoor Bowls Club will run for eight sessions from5 October to30 November, between 12pm and 2pm.

Join us at the Big Nibble in the Carfax on 6 September from 10am to 4pm. Discover Sussex produce, a live cookery theatre, and plenty of music and entertainment.

Our Neighbourhood Wardens run a varied programme of activities designed to combat social isolation and bring communities together.
