Edition: November 2025
Continuing our support for the voluntary sector, we are pleased to report that we have launched another round of Volunteer Support Training.
Sessions cover topics such as volunteer recruitment, managing sensitive volunteer issues, first aid, volunteer wellbeing and more.
Facilitated by UK Government Shared Prosperity Funding, this new round of training will build on the success of last year’s programme, which benefitted over 80 volunteers and 50 organisations.
The new support will seek to further build the resilience of local voluntary groups, create more volunteering opportunities, and enable more local people to access these.
Stay up to date
Local voluntary groups can stay up to date by signing up to the Council’s Voluntary Sector Support newsletter.
