Honey stall

This year's event also shone a spotlight on Sussex honey products, marking 100 years of a world-famous honey-loving bear. Visitors sampled honey-themed produce and learned more about local beekeeping through the popular Sussex Beehive feature.

Cookery demonstration

A particular highlight was the live cookery theatre, hosted by local food expert Hilary Knight. Top Sussex chefs from local businesses, including FELIX Bistro and South Lodge, demonstrated how to make the most of locally sourced ingredients, including Sussex lamb, south coast seafood and wild venison.

Audiences picked up cooking tips, enjoyed live demonstrations and discovered new ways to use local produce at home.

Entertainment for all ages

Fruit costumes

Alongside the food and drink, visitors enjoyed a packed programme of entertainment. The much-loved Little Notes fruit and veg band returned, while local artist Annalees of Whistlestop Arts created live window art. Families also enjoyed meeting a buzzy bee mascot and listening to performances from Big Notes Choir.

The Big Nibble once again showed the strength of Horsham District's food and drink community, bringing hundreds of residents and visitors together to discover new flavours, support local businesses and celebrate the fantastic producers on our doorstep.
