We will be bringing back all the fun of Love Parks Week this year, with entertainment and activities right across the District.
Get ready for a great line up of events over the summer
Love Parks Week
29 July to 2 August
Highlights include: Fabularium returning with free open air theatre, performing their show about Reynard the Fox, fantastic forest school activities with Terri from Wonderbugs, and Wild and Well Yoga with Derry Jayne.
Paintbox Arts will be bringing creative crafting and watercolour sessions, and there will be park walks, scavenger hunts, circus skills, forest bathing, sports and more. With activities all over the District, look out for the full listings on the Council website.
Music and entertainment in Horsham town
Children's Fun Sessions in Horsham Park
We have free 45-minute children's entertainment shows during the school holidays every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 2pm and 3.15pm at Horsham Park Podium. There is no need to book. Just turn up with your children and enjoy fun performances including magic with Uncle Tony, Robbie the Magician, Paul Abbey, and Tony the Magician, puppetry and magic with Marky Wild, and Punch and Judy with Professor Christopher and Jonathan Cann.

Museum Lates
Enjoy the extended evening openings at Horsham Museum with refreshments and live music on Friday 19 July, 16 August and 13 September from 6pm to 8pm.
Big Band Saturdays
On Saturdays, until 28 September, head to the Carfax bandstand from 11am to 1pm. You can enjoy music from: The Hangleton Band, Happy Days Big Band, Sussex Brass, Riverboat Shuffle, New Venture Concert Band, West Chiltington Band, The Windjammers, The East Grinstead Concert Band, The East Sussex Concert Band, Patcham Silver Band, Crawley Millennium Band, Slinfold Concert Band.
Sussex Sounds
Enjoy live music on our West Street and the Carfax Bandstand stages in Horsham on Saturday afternoons throughout the summer. Acts include: Paradise, Jason & Steph, Rhythmic Hat Man, RetroTonic, Saxman Gazz, Ian Roland, Jenna Hall, Paul Wingham, RedEyeZack, William Jones, The Untaken Charlie Shuttleworth, The Jacquie Young Band, Lande, Stephen Leppard, Jukebox 6 and P43. Also look out for our Sussex Sounds Festival on Sunday 25 August throughout the town.
Big Band Sundays
On selected Sundays, join us at the Park Podium from 2pm to 4pm until 8 September. The Crawley Millennium Band, The Horsham Borough Band, Slinfold Concert Band, The Windjammers, The Norwood Wind Band and The East Grinstead Concert Band will all be performing. Battle of the Bands - Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 July
Join us for the finals of the popular Battle of the Bands competition, taking place in the Human Nature Garden in Horsham Park.
Skatejam - Saturday 10 August
Check out professionals from Team Extreme at our free afternoon featuring displays, workshops and music.
Fake Festival - Saturday 17 August
Rocking one of the biggest line-ups of tribute bands yet. This family friendly event is a guaranteed great night out. For more information and tickets, please visit the Fake Festivals website.

Summer Fun in Storrington
Back this year is the Fun Day in Storrington on 19 August, hosted at Chanctonbury Leisure Centre by our Neighbourhood Wardens team. With a climbing wall, bouncy castle, sports, dance, various stalls, and a visit from the emergency services with their vehicles, it is set to be a fun free day for all.
There will also be an Autism and SEN Fun Day at Chanctonbury Leisure Centre on 2 August hosted by the Storrington and Sullington, Billingshurst, Pulborough and Ashington Neighbourhood Warden Schemes.
