In April, Horsham hosted the local heat of the 2024 UK Young Market Trader of the Year competition for the second time.
Attracting a high number of local entrants, the competition saw Silver Hollow, a locally based jewellery company (pictured here), beat off tough competition to win first place. Highly commended companies were HM Jones Designs, Fyne Design, and Garden to Jar.
These companies go forward to the South-East Regional Final at Portobello Market in London on Sunday 14 July, with the ultimate goal of reaching the National Final in Stratford-upon-Avon later in the summer.
The event was organised by the Council in association with the National Market Traders Federation and the District’s local market operators.
