Edition: July 2025
In the past five years we have awarded more than £2.3million of Section 106 funds for community infrastructure projects across the District.

What are Section 106 funds?
Section 106 funding is paid by developers for community infrastructure projects that are needed because of new development.
What sort of projects have been funded?
We allocated funds to community facilities, open spaces, sports and recreation facilities. The money is specifically for the provision, extension, adaptation or enhancement of the facilities. The amount of funding available differs from area to area and can only be used on capital projects.
