Edition: July 2026
This summer, you will see two new Local Plan consultations available for comment
For our 2023‑2040 Local Plan, which is at the independent examination stage, we are consulting on potential changes to the plan in the light of feedback from the Inspector. Find out more at: www.horsham.gov.uk/planning/local-plan/local‑plan‑examination.
In parallel, new government planning reforms mean we are required to commence preparation for the next Horsham District 2045 Local Plan. An initial scoping consultation for this will run from 30 June to 28 July. The scoping consultation will ask what this new plan should cover, prioritise and deliver for the District and how you would like to be consulted going forwards.
From 30 June to 25 August a form will also be available to submit suggestions for potential sites for consideration. Find out more at: https://www.horsham.gov.uk/planning/local-plan/Horsham-District-2045.
You can comment on one or both consultations.
