Edition: November 2026
Thank you to all those who commented on both rounds of the Community Governance Review consultations.
As part of our role, the Council periodically reviews parish boundaries through an open consultation. This helps to determine whether the boundaries remain appropriate for local areas and continue to represent the communities they serve.
What has happened so far?
We held the initial consultation from 9 May to 22 June 2026. Your feedback helped us create the proposals included in the second public consultation.
The second consultation ran from 24 July to 7 September 2026.
The final recommendations were then considered by the Council’s Governance Committee and approved by Full Council on 7 October.
