Congratulations to our Learn to Bowl Class of 2024

Edition: March 2025

Our Sports Development team with Horsham District Indoor Bowls Club and Horsham District Wellbeing ran their first Learn to Bowl course last year.

Our 12 novice bowlers (pictured above) were welcomed into the club from day one by the friendly coaches and members. With an informal dress code and a relaxed atmosphere, they were soon hooked on the sport, which is a game of skill rather than strength.

It was really great to see the group enjoying themselves and develop over the weeks to become competent and confident indoor bowlers.

They continue to play together as a group while they start to integrate into other bowls events  and activities, including our social scene, quizzes, bingo, games afternoons, fun competitions and more.

Now for the next group the class of 2025!
