Edition: March 2025
In this edition we’re taking you behind the scenes at the Council, giving you the latest news from The Capitol on our planned works, and sharing lots more ways to get out, explore and enjoy the District this spring.

It’s been a busy time for the Council – we write this from our new office at Albery House as we navigate the Government’s devolution announcements and what they mean for our District. Find out more about devolution on page 8.
We’ve also talked about our updated Annual Plan for this year, and how we’ve incorporated your views. We are pleased to be securing the lowest Council Tax in Sussex without reducing frontline services for residents. You’ll find a breakdown of your Council Tax on the centre pages, including the support we offer to our most vulnerable residents.
In this edition we’re taking you behind the scenes at the Council and showing you how some of our teams work. Join us as we visit our vehicle workshop technicians who keep your waste collections running smoothly and our Environmental Health Officers as they support disabled residents to live safely in their homes.
Get the latest news from The Capitol on our planned works to refresh the venue for our audiences and uncover some of the treats at our current dinosaur exhibition at Horsham Museum & Art Gallery. Plus, we share lots more ways to get out, explore and enjoy the District this spring.
