Edition: March 2026

Since launching in 2024, our Green LEAP Grants have funded 32 climate-friendly business projects.

These projects are an extension of our LEAP Small Business Grant Scheme which has been running since 2016.

Through Green LEAP, small Horsham District based businesses can apply for up to £5,000 towards climate-friendly projects. The scheme is designed to support local businesses in unlocking a range of benefits that enhance their future-proofing and resilience, including reducing operational costs and attracting new customers.

The grants can be used to fund projects such as introducing rainwater harvesting or switching to renewable energy solutions.

Creative Spark Services in Horsham, received a Green LEAP Grant to help reduce their CO2 emissions and significantly lower their carbon footprint, they commented:

Thanks to the Green LEAP Grant, we have invested in two portable power packs, offering us and our clients a clean and efficient alternative to traditional fuel-based generators for use at smaller events.

How to apply

The next round of Green LEAP funding is open to applications from 12pm on Friday 10 April to 12pm on Monday 20 April. Find out more about eligibility requirements and the application process.
