As part of National Volunteers’ Week in June, we hosted an awards ceremony to recognise the fantastic volunteers who work hard to make a positive difference to communities locally.

This year our Horsham District Volunteer Awards winners were:
- Long Service Award: John Bearman, Thakeham Village Hall
- Special Recognition Award: Roy Bayliss, Rotary Club of Horsham
- Permanent Smile Award: Ethan Kearl, Springboard
- The Dream Team Award: Community Larder
- Volunteers Young Volunteer Award: Aaron Van Der Pijll, 4TheYouth
- Outstanding Contribution: Nathan Harman, Rangers Lodge Wildlife Hospital
- Biggest Heart Award: Jacqui Clark, Horsham and Crawley Samaritans
- Trustee of the Year: Terry O’Leary, St. Catherine’s Hospice
