Places to play

Edition: November 2024

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving recreation facilities, we have recently undertaken work in a number of play areas.

Play area

We have recently undertaken work on play areas in the Holbrook area of  Horsham as well as at Carpenters Meadow play area in Pulborough and Ostlers View in Billingshurst. We have also added to facilities at Bennetts Field.

At Carpenters Meadow, we have selected a nature theme to fit in with the Pulborough Wild Art Trail. This play area is mainly geared towards primary aged children and there is a small scooter and bike track at the lower end of the park for younger children to practice their skills in a safe space.

In Holbrook, Standen Place play area has been refurbished with a selection of play equipment suitable for children under seven. In the woodland (connecting Bartholomew Way to Lemmington Way), selected pieces of natural play equipment, suitable for children up to 11 years have been installed.

At Bennetts Field we have installed new outdoor gym equipment.
