Edition: November 2025
Our popular Business Training Programme will soon return in early 2026.
Delivered by local experts, our popular Business Training Programme will offer engaging, interactive workshops and 121 sessions to help provide valuable knowledge and skills development to local businesses.
Bookings will open from Friday 5 December, the week of Small Business Saturday, for workshops taking place in early 2026. Businesses can express their interest now, with some workshops, 121 sessions and online resources already available to book or access.
Masterclasses available
Building on the success of previous years, this new programme of training will introduce a variety of exciting new topics based on feedback from local organisations.
These include a masterclass on Instagram reels, how to build your on-camera presenting confidence, GDPR for small businesses, how to use an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) and more.
Some workshops will have a nominal cost, with the remainder being paid by the Council on behalf of businesses.
One local business who attended workshops in the last round of training commented:
It surpassed my expectations. So much was covered in such a short period of time, and it was great to get 121 support with the specific questions I had for my business.
