A journey with our Employment Support Hub
A Horsham resident came to the Hub experiencing a period of unemployment that was impacting their mental health and self-confidence.
Personalised service
Following a detailed assessment, a Personal Development Plan was co-created. The team identified their passion for writing and helped explore realistic pathways into work.
Tailored support included:
- Confidence building: the team helped by suggesting structured tasks to rebuild routine and self-esteem.
- CV redesign: their CV was updated to highlight skills and writing achievements to give them a more competitive profile
for employers. - Portfolio development: working through ways to enhance digital presence and engagement with a wider audience.
Outcomes
They now have a clear roadmap for their future career and most importantly have gained confidence and motivation.
The Empower Your Future Programme is delivered by recruitment specialists Adam Knight & Associates in collaboration with Horsham District Council, funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
