Our District July 2024

As we see some warmer days and longer evenings, there is so much to enjoy this summer.

Take a look at our summer events programme for a great line up of activities with music, crafts and theatre, as well as ideas on getting out and about in our District. Head to pages 12 and13to be inspired by the variety of environmentally positive projects in Storrington and Sullington.

If you have young people in your life as I do, don't miss details on our Youth Forum groups, and check out our feature on the new youth activity zone recently opened at Roffey Recreation Ground.

Keep an eye out for various ‘Did You Know’ snippets throughout the magazine, detailing all sorts of schemes that could help you save money. For those planning projects, you can find details on handy building guides, as well as information on grants you may be entitled to for making energy efficient changes to your home.

In this edition, we've also shone a spotlight on our Street Cleansing team, who work hard daily keeping our spaces looking their best, and we are proud to share an amazing testimonial from one of our Wellbeing Service users.
