Edition: March 2026
Following detailed work with teams across the Council, and a public consultation which ran in winter 2025, we have now published our Annual Plan for 2026–2027.
The operational Annual Plan outlines the work we will carry out during the financial year. It sits alongside our Annual Budget and Medium-Term Financial Strategy to support delivery of our five-year Council Plan.
The Annual Plan covers work under our core themes of:
- Supporting people and communities
- Building a thriving economy
- Inspiring greener futures
- Always listening, learning and improving
You can read about just some of the highlighted projects in this magazine, including:
- The roll-out of food waste collections
- Continued improvements to our play areas
- Our Active Wellbeing Strategy
- Progress on refurbishment works at The Capitol Theatre
- Improvements in Billingshurst, aligned with the Better Billingshurst Community Fund and Investment Programme
We will share further progress in the next editions of Our District in July and November.
