Edition: November 2025
We recently undertook a consultation seeking views from residents, local businesses and community groups on whether Horsham Town Centre area should have a town council.
Three quarters of the responses received supported the creation of a town council.
Following this, a second consultation asked for views on what the Town Council should be called, how it could work in terms of the number of councillors and wards it would have and how these wards should be divided. The second consultation closed on 29 September.
The feedback is being considered and will be discussed in our Governance Committee meeting in November and if recommended at our Council meeting in December.
