Museum pop up shop
The Museum Shop will be open every Wednesday and Saturday from 10am to 4pm between 2 and 23 December. It is the perfect place to find gifts for history and art lovers, as well as the essential Christmas treat of Horsham gingerbread. Visitors young (and not so young) will also have an opportunity to create a vintage-inspired letter to send to Father Christmas.
Festive Fridays
Don’t miss our extra special festive Friday Late on 18 December with Beato Burrito Mariachi Band returning with unmissable festive spice for another year along with our fantastic food and drink stalls.
Even more Christmas music
Bands and Christmas choirs will perform on the Carfax Bandstand every Saturday from 11am to 1pm, starting on 21 November.
There will also be more Sussex Sounds performances throughout Horsham Town Centre showcasing our talented line-up of local musicians.
Your Horsham Christmas Launch Party
We’re also proud to support the Your Horsham Christmas Launch Party on 20 November, helping to kick-start the festive season with entertainment and activities in Horsham town centre.
A season of shows and screenings
Make the most of the festive season with a visit to The Capitol, where you can experience the refurbished theatre and cinema screens for yourself (read more on that on pages 16 and 17). Take your seat in the Theatre for the spectacular pantomime Dick Whittington (including a relaxed performance) or step into the Studio for the heartwarming family adventure of Twas the Night Before Christmas (also with a relaxed performance) or an atmospheric adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic Great Expectations. Alongside these, enjoy a sparkling selection of festive films and new releases, the perfect way to share the magic of Christmas with friends and family.
A District full of cheer
Whether you’re shopping, watching a show, exploring or enjoying a festive evening out, Horsham District offers a safe, welcoming, and joyful place to celebrate the season. Our retailers, markets and events bring people together, support local jobs and encourage residents and visitors to spend time in our towns and villages.
